So if you are importing from another autoresponder service, this process ends with sending the list a “confirmation email” -is that something they’ll need to open and click to confirm? (ie. am I looking at potentially losing subscribers by moving to aweber because I am asking them to re-confirm? Obviously a good relationship is key, but people on vacation or whatever… Is this going to cost me a portion of my list if I migrate?

Exactly what I was thinking. If they (your email subscribers) have to re-confirm their subscription, common sense tells me that you will lose a GREAT portion of your list permanently when moving over to Aweber & that’s ONLY IF you get that particular list approved by Aweber 1st to send them a NEW confirmation. Doesn’t sound like a great option.
